Bay Quilters Sit and Sew Day – Saturday, 27th September at 9 am – Highett Neighbourhood House

FreeEverybody is welcome to this event!!! Come along and join in the fun, a day to sit and sew together.
We are going to have an organised ‘stitch-in’ for those that wish to participate where we set up work stations and everyone is given a job, for example: pattern/fabric selection, cutting, sewing, ironing, basting, binding. You are all welcome to join in, whether you have previously made quilts for QFTH or not. Many hands make light work! However, if you would rather carry on with your own project, that is fine too!! The idea is to spend the day sewing together.
BYO sewing machine, cutting mats, scissors, templates/rulers, power boards, cushion to sit on, and all you might need sewing-wise.
Tea and coffee will be supplied. We will ask everyone attending to bring a small plate for morning and afternoon teas.
BYO cup, lunch, mug and badge.
We would love to see you on the day, if only for an hour or so. Please don’t forget your Bayquilters badge.
