Bay Quilters Monthly Meeting – Saturday 18th April – Orphan Block Swap, Embroidery Skill Share

Today is our annual Orphan Block Swap.  Bring along any of your unfinished projects, orphan blocks etc that you are ready to pass on to someone else.  Over the years, we have had some amazing finishes by our members, and it’s always exciting to look and see what might take your fancy!!  It’s funny how someone else’s project is more interesting than finishing the 100+ other things you have at home!!  So join in the fun, bring something to swap or donate, and pick up a potential masterpiece!

Please remember though, if your orphans don’t get adopted, you will have to take them back home again and finish them yourself!!

There will not be a trading table this month, as the trading table with turn into the orphan block table.

Sandra Warren Smith will be running an embroidery stitches Skill Share, this is going to be amazing so make sure you bring with you a 10 inch square of white fabric, some stabiliser, a needle, and some embroidery thread, so that you can take part.

The library will be open as usual.

As usual for our meetings, please bring your name badge,  lunch, your mug and your sewing.  We look forward to seeing you all.
