Groups of four members each produced a face from a common template.
The face had to be fat-quarter sized and able to be cut into four pieces.
Any detail (e.g. glasses) and any technique could be used.
The finished faces were then cut up and each quarter was given to a member of the original group of 4.
Each person was then required to use the four quarters to produce a finished quilt, with no limits to size, technique or embellishment.
It was a serious challenge, but lots of fun, and never to be forgotten!!!
