Bay Quilters Christmas Meeting: Saturday, 14 November – Members Market
Please note the change of date for our November meeting.
This month, apart from our usual Christmas festivities, we will be holding a members market: please register for this on the sheet provided at the previous meetings. There will be a limited number of spaces available, again it will be on a first come/first serve basis. As we have done in the past, we invite members to set up their own small table in the Main Hall, and sell new handmade items and Christmas gifts. There will be a small charge of $5 for the table.
We will be having some Christmas fun. There will be prizes for the best dressed table, the best Christmas outfit, the best homemade Christmas themed bag or decoration, and a wrap the parcel game so get planning!
We are not having morning tea this month, there will be tea and coffee as usual, but we are asking you to bring a plate of something to share for morning tea or lunch at your table.
We are also asking you to bring unwrapped gifts for SECASA – Christmas decorations, toiletries, toys, games, card games. Helen has requested to include gifts for teenagers – the children can be up to 16, not just little ones. Suggestions: deodorants for boys, card games etc. – Helen Clarke will be collecting these and taking them to SECASA on our behalf.
The Trading Table and the library will be open as usual from 10 am – 11 am. There will be a Christmas theme for the trading table.
As usual for our meetings, please bring your name badge, your mug and your sewing. We look forward to seeing you all.
