Bay Quilters General Meeting – Sit and Sew, orphan blocks, pop up shop, Summer Challenge and more

$5| The February meeting will be held in the Beaumaris Hall on Saturday 18th February from 10am – 2pm. This meeting will be “sit and sew” and we have a pop-up shop from These Clever Hands, who will be selling gorgeous curated fabric packs. In addition we have our ‘Orphans and WIP table”. This is your opportunity to donate those unfinished works that you are never likely to complete for someone else to enjoy and finish off. You can donate: |
- Quilt tops
- Bags of blocks. If you have a pattern to include or co-ordinating fabric to finish the top, even better
- Orphan blocks
| Please place your donations in zip lock bags and include any details that will help someone finish the project. Include your name on the packet and if your work is not adopted, please take it home with you. |
| Important: we are not accepting fabric scraps, offcuts, books or magazines. The table will be for work in progress only. Have fun browsing! |
| The Orphans and WIP table will replace the trading table for this month.
We will also be seeing who managed to complete their Summer Challenge and hopefully viewing some of your finished projects!!! |
