Bay Quilters Sewing Day – new format!!!

20 March @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Free

Everybody welcome to this event!!!   This year, we are trying out a new format for our Bay Quilters sewing days.  It  will still be at the small hall at the Beaumaris Library complex, but will start at the new time of 9 am, and go through until 3 pm.

We are going to have an organised ‘stitch-in’ for those that wish to participate, similar to a day we had prior to covid, where we set up work stations and everyone was given a job, for example:  pattern/fabric selection, cutting, sewing, ironing, basting, binding.  You are all welcome to join in, whether you have previously made quilts for QFTH or not.  Many hands make light work!  However, if you would rather carry on with your own project, that is fine too!!  The idea is to spend the day sewing together.

BYO sewing machine, cutting mats, scissors, templates/rulers, power boards, cushion to sit on, and all you might need sewing-wise.
When: Wednesday, 20th March 2024
Where: Small Hall, Beaumaris Library, Reserve Road, Beaumaris
Time: 9 am to 3 pm
Cost: free
Morning and afternoon tea and coffee will be supplied.  We will ask everyone attending to bring a small plate for morning and afternoon teas.
BYO cup, lunch, mug and badge.
The usual COVID restrictions will apply.
We would love to see you on the day, if only for an hour or so. Don’t forget your Bayquilters badge.
Please try and pre-register by emailing Susanne or Marg,  or give Susanne a call, her details are in the newsletter.
But if you decide on the day to come, and have not booked, still come along and we will fit you in.
