Contemporary Group – Saturday, 6th June 10 am at Highett Neighbourhood House

Our theme this year is Design Elements, with a slight focus on Art Quilts.

Today, we are exploring the concept of VALUE.  We will be creating an A3 or A4 sized piece, creating a representation of a 3D object using fabric in ONE colour range, but using different tones (light, medium, dark) and scale (big – small pattern).  Come and join in and challenge yourself!!  It’s always fun and you might surprise yourself with what you can do!!

The Contemporary Group is open to ALL Bay Quilters members, whether you have put your name down for the group or not, so if you fancy coming along and seeing what it is all about, please do so, you will be made very welcome.  Plus we always have AWESOME morning tea!!!  please let Tess or Monique know if you would like to join the group.

A requirements list and information will be emailed to members of the group prior to the event.

Please arrive before 10 am to allow time to set up.

Please bring your mug, lunch and your name badge.
