Visit to Australian Tapestry Workshop – Wednesday, 22nd May at 11 a.m.

Come and join us for a tour of the Australian Tapestry Workshop.  You will need to find your own way there, and meet Val outside the building at 10.45 am.  The tour will cover information about tapestry, the history of the Australian Tapestry Workshop, the current commission/s underway, as well as some information about their exhibitions and programmes.  The guide will take the group up to the viewing platform accessed by stairs at the end of the tour, to see some weaving in progress.  If anyone is unable to use the stairs, they will set aside an alternate area for them to view the weaving but we need to advise them beforehand so that it can be organised.  Please liaise with Val about this.
