DESCRIPTION:Today is our annual Orphan Block Swap.  Bring along any of your unfinished projects\, orphan blocks etc that you are ready to pass on to someone else.  Over the years\, we have had some amazing finishes by our members\, and it’s always exciting to look and see what might take your fancy!!  It’s funny how someone else’s project is more interesting than finishing the 100+ other things you have at home!!  So join in the fun\, bring something to swap or donate\, and pick up a potential masterpiece! \nPlease remember though\, if your orphans don’t get adopted\, you will have to take them back home again and finish them yourself!! \nThere will not be a trading table this month\, as the trading table with turn into the orphan block table. \nSandra Warren Smith will be running an embroidery stitches Skill Share\, this is going to be amazing so make sure you bring with you a 10 inch square of white fabric\, some stabiliser\, a needle\, and some embroidery thread\, so that you can take part. \nThe library will be open as usual. \nAs usual for our meetings\, please bring your name badge\,  lunch\, your mug and your sewing.  We look forward to seeing you all.

DESCRIPTION:Everybody is welcome to this event!!!      Come along and join in the fun\, a day to sit and sew together. \n\nWe are going to have an organised ‘stitch-in’ for those that wish to participate where we set up work stations and everyone is given a job\, for example:  pattern/fabric selection\, cutting\, sewing\, ironing\, basting\, binding.  You are all welcome to join in\, whether you have previously made quilts for QFTH or not.  Many hands make light work!  However\, if you would rather carry on with your own project\, that is fine too!!  The idea is to spend the day sewing together. \nBYO sewing machine\, cutting mats\, scissors\, templates/rulers\, power boards\, cushion to sit on\, and all you might need sewing-wise. \nTea and coffee will be supplied.  We will ask everyone attending to bring a small plate for morning and afternoon teas.\nBYO cup\, lunch\, mug and badge.\n\n\n We would love to see you on the day\, if only for an hour or so. SUMMARY:Bay Quilters Sit and Sew Day - Saturday\, 26 September at 9 am
DESCRIPTION:Everybody is welcome to this event!!!      Come along and join in the fun\, a day to sit and sew together. \n\nWe are going to have an organised ‘stitch-in’ for those that wish to participate where we set up work stations and everyone is given a job\, for example:  pattern/fabric selection\, cutting\, sewing\, ironing\, basting\, binding.  You are all welcome to join in\, whether you have previously made quilts for QFTH or not.  Many hands make light work!  However\, if you would rather carry on with your own project\, that is fine too!!  The idea is to spend the day sewing together. \nBYO sewing machine\, cutting mats\, scissors\, templates/rulers\, power boards\, cushion to sit on\, and all you might need sewing-wise. \nTea and coffee will be supplied.  We will ask everyone attending to bring a small plate for morning and afternoon teas.\nBYO cup\, lunch\, mug and badge.\n\n\n We would love to see you on the day\, if only for an hour or so. Please don’t forget your Bayquilters badge.\n\nPlease try and pre-register by emailing Susanne or Marg\, or give Susanne a call\, her details are in the newsletter.\nBut if you decide on the day to come\, and have not booked\, still come along and we will fit you in.\n\n
