DESCRIPTION:Everybody is welcome to this event!!!      Come along and join in the fun\, a day to sit and sew together. \n\nWe are going to have an organised ‘stitch-in’ for those that wish to participate where we set up work stations and everyone is given a job\, for example:  pattern/fabric selection\, cutting\, sewing\, ironing\, basting\, binding.  You are all welcome to join in\, whether you have previously made quilts for QFTH or not.  Many hands make light work!  However\, if you would rather carry on with your own project\, that is fine too!!  The idea is to spend the day sewing together. \nBYO sewing machine\, cutting mats\, scissors\, templates/rulers\, power boards\, cushion to sit on\, and all you might need sewing-wise. \nTea and coffee will be supplied.  We will ask everyone attending to bring a small plate for morning and afternoon teas.\nBYO cup\, lunch\, mug and badge.\n\n\n We would love to see you on the day\, if only for an hour or so. DESCRIPTION:Are you feeling overwhelmed with too much fabric/too many embroidery threads/loads of cottons/pattterns etc???  Today we are trialing a new Event: we are holding our first Destash Market.  Members are invited to bring along their own table and sell quilt-related/sewing related items from their stash to you\, our members.  There will be a limit of 12 tables so if you would like to participate as a seller\, please sign up on the registration sheet at the August meeting.  It will be on a first come/first served basis.  There is a charge of $10 for the table\, and all proceeds of sale will go to the table holder.  The sale will run for 2 hours in the small hall. \nThe Trading Table will not be open this month.   But the llibrary will be open as usual from 10 am – 11 am. \nPlease don’t forget to bring your name badge\,  lunch\, your mug and your sewing.  We look forward to seeing you all.
